MY COACHING PHILOSPHY
you get what you give. The old addage goes, "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink." You can teach an agent to sell but you can't make them market themselves, prospect, or do any of the other things that make an agent successful.
what you put in to anything -
is what you will get out.
part-time effort usually results in part-time success and part-time satisfaction. If you truly dedicate yourself to the thing - the ONE thing - that you want to do or be, and make sure not to limit your thinking, I believe you can accomplish it.
Finding the right house for our family was a journey, but Jamie, Meagan and the Bluebird team never faltered or made us feel like we were wasting their time. They were invested in the process as much as we were, and they gave us the peace of mind knowing they were in it for the long haul and not just the dollar sign. We don’t regret a moment of the house hunt and are so thankful Bluebird was with us. -Ryan and Meredith Hale, 2019
My name is Jamie Taylor and am the Broker/Owner of Bluebird Realty, an Arkansas based brokerage built on the idea of doing real estate differently.
Originally a southern California native, I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada at age 18 and began a career in real estate appraisal. I studied and practiced under a certified real estate appraiser and although I obtained education in real estate and property management as well, I remained infatuated with the idea of appraisal.
I moved to Arkansas to be closer to my family who had retired here in 2007 and continued to practice appraisal, eventually obtaining my own license and opening my own appraisal practice.
In 2013, I earned my Arkansas real estate license to help a family member sell a home. I continued to help friends buy and sell here and there with no real intention of getting in to the business full time.
In 2017, I got a little tired of appraising to be honest - and decided I would try my hand at sales. Using only what knowledge I had of property, a positive attitude and an interest in people, I sold a little over $1 million dollars in my first 5-months. Brokers and agents around me said that was an exciting thing, especially since I had never purchased a lead. The trend continued into 2018 as I sold over $10 million dollars in real estate - again, not a single purchased lead. Do note, the average home price in Arkansas is only $150,000).
I have since learned that my skill set, knowledge of property, strength in networking and ability to interact well with people from all walks of life, is a combination that has led me to have incredible success in the real estate industry. I want to pass that along to others which is why I got involved with coaching!
I am happily married and mother to a 12-year old boy with a new baby on the way! I reside in the North Little Rock area of Arkansas and spend my free time reading, laughing with family and friends, playing soccer, hiking, writing, painting, I love board games and let's be honest - it's mostly real estate with moments of life packed in! I find my greatest joy helping others and watching them grow.
